Hi all,

We are about 8 weeks away from the cut off date and as of now we have ~40 persons who have sent in the registration fees. They are coming in on a daily basis and at this pace we should be close to our goal of 100 persons. Please don't wait until the last minute to send in the fees, the sooner we get the funds in easier the planning gets for us.

We have set up an online payment system on our website (www.albrookreunion.com). Several of you have already used it and we have had no problems. Just remember when you use the online system, after you make the payment it will direct you to the registration form. Please fill it out for us, because we only get the payees information when the payment is made and not any of the guests.

Please keep passing the informtion out, we are still getting calls and emails from many who are just now finding out about the reunion.

Something that was brought to my attention recently was that when booking a room, a non smoking room could not be guaranteed.

Here is what was sent out:

I called and talked to the hotel today, and what they are saying is that they don't give guaurantees on any room reservations as a policy. But, the hotel planner says that if you request a non smoking room, there is a 99% chance you will get it they just can't guarantee it. If you call and tell them you have health issues and you want a non smoking room you are almost guaranteed of a non smoking room they just can't say you are guaranteed.

This is just the hotel making sure it's covered in the event they are busy and the rooms are full, and that you know their policy.

Wow, crazy I know. The hotel says that room vacancies for August are plentiful and there should not be a problem getting non smoking rooms.

So that's where we are as of today, Please make an effort to send in your registrations fees as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.
